Right now China is working on learning the ins and outs of basic obstacles courses to build her confidence in herself and in her surroundings. She is also doing really well over walk and trot poles and trotting small cross rails. She has been learning basic dressage including walk and halt and walk and trot transitions. She is learning trot to canter transitions although they are a bit unbalanced at the moment. And, she likes to walk or trot a few steps of left leg yield but not so much to her stiff right side. She does however try every time we ride and always in a sweet and dainty way.
She loves to be groomed and pampered, quietly lifts her feet and has found out that having her ears rubbed or gently scratched is a good sensation. She has trailed over to Wills Park as a non-compete horse during the GDCTA August Schooling show. And, she has trailered over to Conyers as a non-compete in the GDCTA rated show and we rode in the warm up arenas and walked around the grounds.
